The Dreamliner’s maiden overseas flight

Finally, the Dreamliner (the Boeing 787, as it’s officially called) had made a flight across the Atlantic and landed in the UK for the Farnborough Air Show. Finally, the delays have been contained, and it seems that within less than a year, we’ll see this plane hit the skies for commercial passengers (first in Japan, for ANA, but others will soon come). What exciting times for aviation! The skies will start populating with brand new planes – first the A380, now the 787, and in a few years, the A350XWB! Can’t wait to see these babies fly.
