North Korea giant statues – something to look forward to

As the North Korean Military spectacularly failed to launch a rocket (a.k.a. weather satellite) into orbit to mark the 100th anniversary of the great leader’s birth (Kim-Il Sung), they also celebrated by unveiling a second gargantuan statue to sit next to Kim-Il Sung’s lonely statue – this time of Kim-Jong Il.  So now the father and son are back together. Fantastic piece of news, right?

These statues really make me look forward to the moment the regime will collapse. This will be a great moment, and will render all previous statue topples tiny and irelevant. Oh Saddam, Gaddafi, Ceausescu, Stalin – you will be so jealous. This will bring two new dimensions to statue toppling:

size – unlike anything before

concept – two statues being toppled at the same time. I wonder, will they bump their heads falling?
